Using Tal-E
By using Tal-E, you agree that the app is provided "as-is" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. Slumbering Thread Studios makes no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any financial data displayed in the app.
We are not responsible for any financial decisions made based on the data in this app. You are solely responsible for maintaining your own backups to prevent data loss.
Bank Sync (Optional)
Bank Sync is an optional feature that uses Teller — a third-party service with its own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By enabling Bank Sync, you agree to Teller's terms in addition to these terms.
Bank Sync is read-only. Tal-E cannot initiate payments, transfers, or any write operations on your bank account.
All synced transactions require your explicit review and approval before they are imported into Tal-E.
Google Sheets Backup (Optional)
Google Sheets Backup is strictly opt-in and off by default. By enabling it, you explicitly authorize Tal-E to write your financial data to a Google Sheet in your own Google Drive.
The sync is one-way: Tal-E only writes to your Sheet. It does not read from it, and it cannot access any other files or Google services beyond the single spreadsheet it creates.
You can revoke this access at any time by disabling the feature in Settings, or by removing Tal-E from your Google Account permissions at myaccount.google.com.
The spreadsheet belongs to you. Slumbering Thread Studios has no access to it.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Slumbering Thread Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Tal-E, including but not limited to loss of data, financial loss, or decisions made based on app data.
Changes to These Terms
If we make material changes to these terms, we will update the effective date above and note the changes in the app's release notes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
