Privacy Policy

Our core commitment: Your data is entirely yours. We do not want it, we do not collect it, and we do not use it. Slate is designed to run 100% locally on your device. However, because you retain absolute control, you also assume all risks regarding local data preservation and storage.

1. Spatial Containment & Local Storage

Slate is a canvas-based objective planner. All board configurations, task nodes, color states, and git hook descriptions are stored completely in a local SQLite database inside your device's app sandbox. The application does not require internet permissions or synchronize your tasks to external servers.

2. Zero Telemetry & Tracking

We do not use cookie tracking, background telemetry collection, profile compiling, crashlytics, or tracking libraries. Slate operates inside a completely offline local sandbox. We have no way of knowing how you use the app or what you store within it.

3. Local Git Sync

Git hook and commit integrations are checked using local filesystem queries only. None of your repository paths, commit messages, or branches are ever read or transmitted over the internet. Any authentication tokens used to connect local repositories are stored securely in your device's Android Keystore.
