Terms of Service
Plain-Language Summary
Resolve is a personal productivity and behavior-management tool. It runs entirely locally on your device, with no account systems and no cloud syncing. By using Resolve, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you") and the developer of Resolve ("Developer," "we," "us"). They apply to your use of the Resolve mobile application and any associated website (collectively, the "Service").
By downloading or using the app, you confirm that you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility & Child Safety
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. We do not knowingly compile databases or register profiles for users of any age, as all application operations are isolated to your local hardware.
3. No Account Registration
Resolve operates without account registration, logins, passwords, or remote profiles. All preferences, configurations, levels, and blocking rules you configure are stored strictly in local device storage. Because we do not have passwords or accounts, you are solely responsible for securing your physical device and backing up your local files.
4. License to Use the Service
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and run the Resolve app on a compatible Android device you own or control, strictly for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
- Copy, distribute, sell, sublicense, or lease any part of the Service.
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code from the app, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- Use the Service or any part of it to build a competing product.
5. User Conduct
You agree to use Resolve in good faith. You must not use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purposes under applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.
6. Data Sovereignty & Deletion
Because the Service runs entirely local-only, the Developer has no access to your data or logs. You can permanently delete all local history and settings at any time by uninstalling the application or using the "Delete Local History" button in Settings.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
RESOLVE IS A PERSONAL PRODUCTIVITY AND SELF-IMPROVEMENT TOOL. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE MEDICAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL, OR THERAPEUTIC ADVICE or TREATMENT.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER AND ANY AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA OR INJURY RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service queries Open-Meteo locally to resolve coordinates from ZIP codes when setting up local places. Their terms govern coordinate lookups.
