Delete Your Data — Thread

Slumbering Thread Studios  |  Last Updated: April 14, 2026

No account required, no server involved. Thread stores all your data locally on your device. There is nothing on our servers to delete — the data is yours and it stays on your device until you remove it.

What Data Thread Stores

All of this lives in your device's private app storage. None of it is sent to or stored on our servers.

How to Delete Your Data

Option 1 — In-App (Recommended)
  1. Open Thread
  2. Tap the menu icon to open the side drawer
  3. Go to Settings
  4. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Sign out & clear all data"
  5. Confirm in the dialog that appears

This signs you out of all Google accounts and immediately erases all locally stored data including feeds, preferences, and cached events.

Option 2 — Uninstall

Uninstalling Thread from your device removes all app data automatically. Android deletes the app's private storage directory on uninstall.

Google Calendar Data

Thread reads your Google Calendar events but does not copy them to any server. If you want to manage or delete the underlying calendar data itself, do so directly in Google Calendar or your device's Calendar app — Thread has no control over data stored in your Google account.

Questions

If you have any questions about your data, contact us at contact@slumberingthread.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
