Sit on floor, cross-legged or however feels stable. Close eyes if you want. Just breathe—long, deep belly breaths. In through nose, out through mouth. Feel shoulders drop with each exhale. Let body settle.

Breath-Led Progressive Flow

Inspired by the ancient elven stretch routine from Eragon, this physical progression is carefully calibrated for morning recovery, joint decompression, and spinal mobility. By starting at Level 1 (grounded, parasympathetic focus) and slowly layering on joint complexity, dynamic loading, and strength volume, you can check in with your joints daily and stop where your body commands.

Level Name Focus Area Est. Time Morning Condition
1 Warmed Stone Sacroiliac, spine grounding, lower back release 12 mins High pain, stiffness days. Focuses on breathing.
2 Lighting the Fire Active range of motion, shoulders, knees, thoracic spine 7-8 mins Standard mornings (layer after Level 1).
3 Fire & Stone Full-body joint coordination, extremities 8-9 mins Good days. Sinks mobility down into ankles/wrists.
4 The Dance Calisthenic intensity, dynamic core activation 10-12 mins Active strength mornings. Low pain levels.
5 The Ultimate Volume endurance, handstands, structural loading 15-20 mins Long-term goals. High-volume bodyweight capacity.

General Principles

  • Deep Belly Respiration: Do not rush the movement. Every movement starts with the breath.
  • Sensory Check-In: Skip or adjust anything that pinches. Ankylosing Spondylitis and Rheumatoid Arthritis require gentle, steady expansion, not forced compliance.
  • Strict Holds: Timing is locked into clean increments (10s, 30s, 60s) for consistency.
  • Incremental Progression: Never skip ahead. Always build from Level 1 outward.
